Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions relate to work undertaken by A Better Bid for you, the Client.  When you engage A Better Bid, you agree to our quote for your project, and you also agree to these terms and conditions.

•             A specific quote shall be generated for your project. The amount is based on the time and expertise required; this calculation occurs following a full briefing of your requirements. As each project’s requirements are unique, A Better Bid cannot quote individual project prices on our website. The quoted amount shall be in Australian dollars.

•             Acceptance of a quote and instruction to proceed with the work indicate that you have agreed with and accepted these terms and conditions. The quote shall be accepted in writing by an authorised business representative of the Client.

•             When you engage A Better Bid to work on your project, you agree to indemnify A Better Bid and its directors, officers, employees, sub-contractors and agents from and against all losses, claims, damages and liabilities which arise out of its use.

•             A Better Bid does not guarantee correctness or accuracy. Final approval of content created or amended by A Better Bid is at the discretion of the Client.  A Better Bid is not liable for any losses, claims, damages or costs, financial or other, resulting from errors or inaccuracies in A Better Bid’s work.

•             A Better Bid does not guarantee any specific results, nor does it guarantee that the tender/grant submission will be successful.

•             Submission of the tender or grant to the funding body is the Client’s responsibility. A Better Bid’s services do not include submission of the finished response.

•             By accepting an A Better Bid quote, you agree to payment terms of seven days from the date of invoice or other specific terms included in the quote.

•             50% of the total cost is payable upfront, with the remainder due seven days after completion of the work. A Better Bid will begin work on your project within one week of payment or on the date outlined in the quote, subject to us receiving all information we have requested from you to begin work on your project.

•             If A Better Bid incurs legal fees, costs and disbursements in an effort to collect our invoices, you agree to reimburse us for these expenses.

•             All requests for Client information or images shall be provided to A Better Bid via email within one business day of request.

•             Payment is accepted by bank transfer only. Payment must be made in Australian dollars.

•             Our pricing is based on your original brief and the tender/grant documents issued at the time of the brief.  If significant changes are required in the output after acceptance of A Better Bid’s quote, additional charges may be incurred by you.

•             You shall forward all addenda or extra documents/information provided by the funding body within one business day of its receipt.

•             All revisions arising out of your review must be received in writing by A Better Bid within two business days of the first draft being released to you. If no review changes are requested within this time, the project will be considered approved and complete, and you will be invoiced for the final amount.

•             A Better Bid retains ownership of all content produced by us on your behalf until payment is made in full. Content that has been written edited, proofread or otherwise amended by A Better Bid cannot be used in any tender response or grant submission if payment has not been made.

•             Unless you specifically ask us not to, A Better Bid reserves the right to refer to your project and your business name to indicate services have been provided by us to you, and we may also provide a copy of what we have written for you to third parties to peruse as examples of our work.  We may also show your company logo on our website.
